UTA Promotes Four to Partner

Jay Gassner, Chris Hart, Mike Jelline and Josh Katz have been upped

UTA has upped Jay Gassner, Chris Hart, Mike Jelline and Josh Katz to partner at the agency.

“We are pleased to announce the partnership promotions of Jay, Chris, Mike and Josh,” the UTA Board of Directors said in a joint statement. “There are many ways an agency grows, and organic matriculation into the partnership is in many ways the most rewarding for all concerned. This elevation recognizes not just what they have accomplished but perhaps more importantly the responsibility of further accomplishment that we have placed on them as future leaders.”

The four represent some of the agency’s major clients, including Aziz Ansari, Morena Baccarin, Kelsey Grammer, Anna Gunn, Bill Hader, Kevin Hart, Jack Huston, Jake Johnson, January Jones, Diane Kruger, John Leguizamo, Lucy Liu, Virginia Madsen, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Alex O’Loughlin, Jason O’Mara, Nick Offerman, Aaron Paul, Naya Rivera, Andy Samberg, Amy Schumer, Jimmy Smits, Rafe Spall, Corey Stoll, Amber Tamblyn, Maura Tierney, Liv Tyler, Paul Walker and Kristen Wiig.

Hart and Jelline joined UTA in 2010 and 2011. Gassner joined in 1997 and Katz joined in 1996.
