Can you believe she's 48?
Marcia Cross stepped out on Saturday in Santa Monica, daring to go where few women over the age of thirty dare to go - completely make-up free.
The bare-faced beauty's skin looked absolutely flawless as she enjoyed a manicure and pedicure at a nail salon on trendy Montana Avenue.

Bare faced beauty: A casually dressed Marcia Cross stopped off for a manicure and pedicure in Santa Monica on Saturday after a rigorous workout at the gym
Stopping off to treat herself after a rigorous work-out the Desperate Housewives actress was dressed casually in sweatpants, T-shirt and flip flops.
But despite being dressed down she still looked great, showcasing her porcelain skin that appeared to be totally wrinkle free despite the actress nearing the age of fifty.
Cross works hard to protect her fair skin from the ravages of the sun, always wearing a high-factor SPF face cream and often wearing a sun hat to shade her face.
She also ensures that she protects the delicate skin of her adorable three-year-old twins, Eden and Savannagh, dressing them in hats and covering up their exposed limbs whenever the sun is at it's most fierce.

Cross also maintains her flawless complexion by splashing out on top quality skincare products.
She's a huge fan of the high-end face cream, Creme De La Mer, which she slathers on her face every morning and night.
Beauty doesn't come cheap though, or at least it's cost of maintenance doesn't, the cream's retail price starts at $130 for the smallest pot and goes up to a mind boggling $1,390.

Shady lady: Cross works hard at protecting her fair skin from the harmful rays of the sun, always wearing a high factor SPF face cream and often donning a hat
It may not all be down to just good genes and expensive face cream though.
Cross' suspiciously tight skin, lack of any wrinkles or lines and highly curved eyebrows have lead to speculation that she may have had a little help from the plastic surgeons.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, 'Marcia Cross is the poster child for Botox. She is a beautiful woman, but at times she can look somewhat “frozen”, especially in her forehead and glabella areas.
'It is apparent that skin care is extremely important to the television star. Anytime she is photographed outdoors she always covers her skin in long sleeves and large hats.
'Ms. Cross has said in interviews that she keeps her skin young and flawless by staying out of the sun’s harmful rays. I would agree with that, but think injectables, Botox and a good skin care regimen also help her achieve the “flawless” look.” '

Another New York based plastic surgeon, Dr David Shafer agrees, saying: 'Marcia Cross definitely looks Botoxed. She also appears to have a lip plumper. Neither one is bad - she looks nice.'
There's also speculation that she has undergone an eye lift as there's a distinct lack of creases, under eye bags, excess skin on her lids or crow's feet around her eyes.
Either way there's no doubting she looks amazing for 48-years-old.
In addition to her successful acting career, she stars as uptight Bree Van De Kamp on the hit ABC show, Desperate Housewives, Cross also revels in her role as mum to her twin girls from her marriage to stockbroker, Tom Mahoney.

She recently explained to U.S. website momlogic how she manages to balance her busy work life with the pressures of parenting: 'If I have a 12 or 14 hour workday, I am home the next. I cut out anything that is frivolous or doesn’t need to be done.
'I try to balance it out on the whole. Being a mum is always the priority. Next, it’s taking care of yourself.
'Right now, I get to only work two days a week – it’s a dream. I can’t imagine how hard it is for mothers who work 40 hours a week.
'When Desperate Housewives ends, I think my girls will be about the kindergarten age. I will be so happy to be there for them through that huge transition.'
